Mrs. Foecking was awarded aPCLS Educational Foundation Grant for her Reading Incentive Program..
To help the children in grades K-2 and 3-5 at Maple Elementary School reach reading goals that have been set as part of school improvement plan. The incentive will help motivate and encourage the students and classes to accomplish the goals. The incentive program is based on gains made by the entire class as compared to other classes in the grade level. Winning classes will have access to a Wii System for one month to use during recess and before and after school. In addition, students in those classes will be eligible to win a $25 gift card through a monthly drawing.
