Fox 8 News and Tracy McCool came out today and video taped a piece to go on the news for Thursday morning between 7am-8am. The children had an all school assembly where Tracy congratulated Maple on winning cool school of the week with more than 17,000 votes. The Chic Fil A cow joined our assembly and had everyone cheer with him "Eat Mor Chikin"! The representitives from Chic Fil A threw out stuffed animal cows to some lucky children as well as giving each child a free sandwich coupon. Mrs. Fitzgerald lead the students in Maple's song and PTA President Yvonne Alston congratulated everyone on voting and helping Maple become a cool school!
Maple is featured as a cool school for this week, but will be a cool school forever!
